Thanksgiving The Salvation Army Evanston

The Salvation Army Evanston Corps Community Center will once again distribute annual Thanksgiving food baskets to individuals, families, and seniors in need on Monday, November 20th beginning at 6pm. This year, the 300 baskets include mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, turkey, green beans, stuffing, and fruit.

Thanksgiving baskets will be distributed 11/20/17 at The Salvation Army Evanston Corps Community Center: 1403 Sherman Ave, Evanston, IL 60201.

The Salvation Army, one of the largest direct providers of social services across Illinois, has launched its renowned annual holiday season campaign – this year titled FIGHT FOR GOOD. Fundraising, food drives, and volunteering are all part of the annual tradition – which also includes the iconic red kettles and bell ringing.
